## Original works, inspired by artistic styles

Every component in this library is **original code** that generates new, animated visuals. The
components are not reproductions, scans, or copies of any existing artwork.

Some themes are created **in the style of**, or as a **tribute to**, well-known artistic movements
and historical artists (e.g. Post-Impressionism, De Stijl, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, ukiyo-e). Artistic
**style and technique are not protected by copyright** — these components reinterpret a style, they
do not copy a work.

## No affiliation or endorsement

This project, its authors, and any site that hosts it are **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or
connected to** any artist, artist's estate, foundation, or rights-holder. Where an artist's name
appears, it is used **descriptively**, to credit the stylistic influence behind an original work —
not to imply authorship, endorsement, or origin.

## Public-domain basis

Themes named after historical artists draw on artists whose original works are in the **public
domain** (the artist died more than 70 years ago). The components remain original works regardless.

## Trademarks

Artist names, movement names, and any third-party marks referenced are the property of their
respective owners and are used only for descriptive, nominative purposes.

## Takedown / contact

If you are a rights-holder and believe a component crosses from "inspired by a style" into
reproducing a specific protected work, contact the site owner and it will be reviewed and, if
warranted, removed promptly.
